The Corinth PTA executive board also serves on our Corinth Education Foundation board.

What is the difference between the Dragon Operating Fund and the Corinth Education Foundation?

Dragon Operating Fund:

This fund is what supports nearly all of the events the PTA funds throughout the school year. The largest annual fundraisers under the Dragon Operating Fund are the Dragon Parent Socials in the fall, which are able to support nearly all of our community events. Additional fundraising events include restaurant nights, Dragon Dash, book fair, and skate parties to name a few but for a comprehensive list of fundraisers and events, hop over to our Dragon Operating Fund page here.

Corinth Education Foundation/Auction Funds:

Currently, the Corinth Auction is held every other year. The proceeds from the auction go towards the Corinth Education Foundation. The Corinth PTA also serves on the Corinth Education Foundation. The Dragon Operating Fund and the Corinth Education Foundation are two separate entities.

Historically, the Corinth Education Foundation has raised funds towards funding community held positions deemed necessary after careful collaboration with the school principal, PTA, community and staff.

The Foundation also funds various other improvements and educational enrichment programs. For example: science enrichment. A more detailed list on all items CEF has funded and will continue to fund can be found here on our CEF page.
